Vehicles will be the first line of defense against the alien threat. The moment those Alien ships come through those gates, your ships should already be launching and warming those guns. Expect a hard fight; the aliens ships are tough to kill. So brush up on each ship and what its got!

Aside from X-COM built crafts, which comes with fixed built-in engine (thus top speed and acceleration), acceleration speed is calculated using this formula:

Acceleration = Engine Power / vehicle weight  (maximum 10, minimum 1)

The price of a vehicle is made up of its parts and chassis. Ammunition for each weapon and fuel for the engine is loaded to capacity for free! Components or chassis can be sold individually or in any partial combination.

Chop Shop: Road

Road vehicles are not very useful because all roads are too weak. The vehicles are good, the roads aren't.
