Armoured Vest (Hardmode)

Armoured vests are standard issue protective gear that X-COM has access to at the start of the game. They offer a relativitly minor boost to a soldiers survivaiblity over coveralls at the cost of weight and monetary cost.

As with all armours, armoured vests can be repaired if the user is killed in action.
