Alloy Drones are available to research and manufacture during the latter stages of the game.

Upgrade Cost

Standard drones can be upgraded directly into any Alloy variant. The default cost for upgrading an existing drone is: $100,000, 8 Alien Alloys.
Upgrading any variant to a Alloy Drone/Medkit variant will require an Advance Medical Kit, this includes a Drone/Medkit.
Upgrading to a Alloy Drone/Taser variant requires 8 Elerium, unless it is a Drone/Taser in which case it will only cost 4 Elerium.
