The alien craft of Apocalypse are organic looking ships, as compared to the metallic transports of UFO: Enemy Unknown (the UFOs) or of Terror from the Deep (the USOs).
Alien Ship Components
When you shoot down and recover a manned UFO you will be able to bring back the following components:
Research into all of those components is essential to develop the Dimension Probe, the first step to X-COM Advanced Craft.
Alien Ships
There are 10 alien ships which you will encounter in your skirmishes with the enemy. These have been listed below. You must shoot down each INTACT, send in a squad to eliminate all hostile aliens still residing within the ship, and then bring back anything you find. This will allow you to research the powerful Retaliator and Annihilator crafts, so that you can bring the fight to the enemy. Now, the ships!
