Battlescape terrain blocks (.MAP files) are combined in a semi-random fashion to create each battlefield your soldiers fight in.

The following MAPs are used by the game to place a corresponding X-COM craft onto the battlefield map. Each level in the file is shown as indicated.

The game does not provide any MAPs for Interceptor or Firestorm as these crafts are not supposed to carry troops that could participate in a ground mission.
