Alien weapons technology is based on a complex sub-atomic particle system. The Disruptor Beam is generated from an inter-dimensional power source. It propels sub-atomic particles which disintegrate molecules in their path. The weapon does not require ammunition since the energy chamber appears to be a self-perpetuating energy source.
