A light duty laser gun ideal for use in combat in the early stages only due to its recharging.
The weapons power is lax so only weak UFOs can be downed whereas strongly armoured craft will be immune. This disadvantage is a positive when fighting within the city since its low power does not destroy buildings or infrastructure.
An advantage of any recharing weapon is no cost of ammuntion.
