Base Layouts (Apocalypse)

The Base Layout is one of the most important factors in a base since it will determine the where additional base modules can be built and will also impact the Battlescape layout during Base Defense missions.

The difficulty levels are: Novice, Easy, Medium, Hard and Superhuman.

	29	N/M/S	This layout allows for cheap base defense, provided you don't need a Vehicle Bay, since it is only necessary to place 2 Security Stations at each side of the Access Lift. It is possible to have up to 4 advanced research/manufacturing facilities with plenty of additional space for 1x1 modules.

	24	E
	24	E/H
	24	E/H/S
	22	E/M/S	Another easy defendable layout. Stick one Security Station right next to the lift. The Vehicle Bay can be on either one of the 2x2 spaces up and below the central area, with 2 Security Stations right next to it.
