Longevity is the major obsession of medical research. Life can be prolonged by genetically reprogramming cell death mechanisms, but disease is still a major killer. Nano technology is employed to destroy cancer cells and solve all kinds of medical problems. Operations are no longer performs by humans - artificial intelligence's are employed instead. The Sanctuary Clinic controls hospitals, pharmaceutical plants and the procreation parks.
