Welcome to the XCOM 2: Long War of the Chosen wiki, a part of UFOPaedia.org. Long War of the Chosen (LWOTC) is a mod primarily focused on porting Long War 2 to work with the XCOM 2: War of the Chosen expansion, but includes several important changes from Long War 2 as well. As Long War 2 did, Long War of the Chosen introduces many changes, large and small, to the vanilla version of the game. It is longer and more complex than the vanilla version but gives you many more tools to combat the alien threat.

The main channel to discuss the mod with its creators and community is the Long War of the Chosen Discord server.

Contributing

Like all wikis, we depend on individual contributors to keep information up to date. You're welcome to contribute to this wiki by creating a UFOpaedia account and editing the pages. Please use the Talk button to discuss any aspects of this wiki. The version against which this wiki should be kept up to date is the main release on Steam Workshop.

Development

Long War of the Chosen is at version 1.1 with more balance changes and gameplay tweaks coming. A pre-release, or "beta" version with experimental changes is available on the Steam Workshop.

The easiest way to contribute to the development of LWOTC is to play the beta release and give feedback on Discord. Long War of the Chosen is version controlled on GitHub where you can open issues or pull requests.
