General Information
The gauss defence module is a defense measure that launches gauss attacks against an incoming retaliation ship (an alien Dreadnought).
It is the end result of gauss based research. A single gauss defense system is roughly worth two torpedo defense systems, but only because it takes up less space inside your installation.
This base facility appears in Terror from the Deep. For the UFO: Enemy Unknown equivalent, refer to the Laser Defences.
