The question here is: what difficulty level were you playing? You're not the first person who has reported seeing more aliens that the limit - someone at the xcom reddit mentioned a while ago more than 1 sectopod in september. But the only explanation I got for those is either data corruption or something didn't go as the game is supposed to act - I've just rechecked the functions at XComStrategyGame.upk and the limits are there and are used. 			I thought I was on a special talk page about the cyberdisks in Enemy Unknown (2012) ^^.
