The former because I valiantly defended a new base against an Ethereal and Sectopod invasion using only two tanks (cannon) and eight unarmed soldiers who picked up dead Ethereal weapons. The first soldier to make it to one of the corpses grabbed the grenade, armed it for 0 seconds and threw it into a group of three Ethereals and killed them en masse while leaving the weapons intact for the unarmed soldiers to grab.
