			Simplification is good! But as you've probably noticed, we tend to be very liberal with the gory mathematical details.

			I'd still like the numerous examples to remain so that the concept can eventually sink in for those that learn by example than read the theory. Perhaps a summary at the top and then the needlessly detailed elaboration at the bottom would help.

			I think everybody has a good point. For some reason, to me, this one particular formula always seemed more confusing to look at than it really is, once you know it. Another simplified way to say it (without the now well-known integer rounded ave/2 to ave*3/2 per se) is simply:

			(1 to 3) x HealthLoss/2

			Well, I suppose it could also be illustrated as:

			Min = H × 0.5
			Max = H × 1.5

			This would look even simpler than having lots of divides and multiplications. Still, they all mean the same thing.

			Unfortunately, the non-math-savvy cannot understand complicated algorithms, while the hardcore mathematician cannot grasp the concept of simple maths. Well known fact. The same can probably be said for linguists. ;)
