	Thanks for getting that, Spike; I meant to but forgot. I've always considered part of the weight stat to be how balanced an item is and thus how easy it is to carry/throw/move around with. For example, a grenade or a ammo clip is fairly balanced(the grerade because it needs to be thrown, and the clip because its uniformly full of ammunition) and thus has a low weight. Meanwhile, the Heavy Cannon is large and the weight isn't evenly distributed along the weapon, nor is it on the Rifle, so these weapons weigh more. A human body is unbalanced in weight, obviously, and large enough that it's hard to move with. On a counterpoint, the High Explosive is balanced, but the sheer mass of its contents makes it harder to move with. Anyways, just my two cents on the issue. 			I think encumbrance is a better stat than weight too. Ah, D&D. Unfortunatly, as I said, human body vs 5 unloaded pistols. ... Anyhow, an X-com agent can theoratically place one of his unconscious buddies in his backpack, and hold in in each hand. ... 			Note: Apparently, the high use of Elerium has bathed the Earth in Anti-gravity waves, radically effecting the weights of various objects. For instance you will note a human body weighs less than 5 unloaded pistols, or 2 loaded rifles... This is one factor making it so difficult to determine the mass of a unit of Elerium.
