The Sonic Pulser's power surpasses the [[Magna-Pack Explosive]], the most powerful weapon that can be initially purchased. It is smaller, lighter and very powerful and makes for a good standard-issue grenade once they are in decent supply. Sonic Pulsers also cannot be destroyed by other explosions, making them easier to recover. Being a great equalizer against the strong aliens, the Sonic Pulser is a popular early research topic.

	~~The~~ Sonic ~~Pulser's power outclasses anything humanity can manufacture, even the [[Magna-Pack Explosive]]~~. ~~Therefore, as soon as you have a significant stock of these weapons, they should become your standard-issue grenade for~~ the ~~rest of~~ the ~~war~~, ~~as they are smaller, lighter, and more powerful.~~		Note that aliens that are armed with drills will also be armed with up to four Sonic Pulsers. While the AI does not know how to use the drills, the Pulsers make them extremely dangerous enemies to underestimate.
