Fighters generally are deployed early on during Alien missions, and will generally land to conduct ground operations, which represent a less stressful opportunity to eliminate the UFO.

Despite its impressive firepower, the ship itself is very small, only slightly larger than the Medium Scout. It nonetheless operates an identical crew-number akin to a Medium Scout, approximately 9 to 12 Aliens should be expected.

This is a one-level ship, an octagon shape similar to a Medium Scout but with two small external wings attached, a single UFO Power Source is typically found inside one of the wings.
