I have confirmed that you can actually win this mission by killing all aliens. See, the game's "are all aliens dead" trigger doesn't actually check whether there are active reinforcement pads. If you blow up all the generators and kill all the aliens currently on-map, the mission will end. Obviously, this requires you to station a squad at each corner of the map (to kill every incoming Skeletoid before the next one appears) as well as investigate the centre (where most of the mission-start forces are, some of them cloaked) via either flight or teleporters.

I'm not sure whether to put this on the main page, since you don't really get anything out of it besides a warm fuzzy feeling and it takes quite a bit longer. [[User:Magic9mushroom|Magic9mushroom]] ([[User talk:Magic9mushroom|talk]]) 07:52, 19 October 2019 (CEST)
