'''''Official Entry:''''' " This bizarre cult has whipped up a religious frenzy following the appearance of the [[Dimensional Gates|Dimensional Gates]]. The cult has long believed in redemption of the human race by a superior Alien race. They believe the UFOs and Aliens to be harmless and are rapidly gaining credibility and recruits from the general populations. This represents a considerable threat to [[X-COM (Apocalypse)|X-COM]] because the cultists will do anything to assist the Aliens in their purpose, whatever that might be."

== [[Cityscape (Apocalypse)|Cityscape]] Information ==
* Quickly and repeatedly raiding the Cult Temples at the beginning of the game can yield massive cash income, Agent experience, and tactical points for X-COM's weekly evaluation. And X-COM needs only to fear retribution from the Cult itself,) for such actions. However, the Cult CANNOT retaliate until its balance is positive, and repeated raids will make the cult financially in so much debt they can't do anything for months. Thus, large scale, senseless destruction in later weeks, once per week, can keep the cult entirely emasculated.
* However, raiding the cultists can leave all your agents either very dead or very injured. Just remember that you are using basic weaponry at the start of the game, and cultists are using [[Marsec]] [[Marsec Heavy Launcher|Heavy Launcher]]s, [[Megapol]] [[Megapol Plasma Gun|Plasma Gun]]s, [[Marsec Minilauncher|MiniLaunchers]], and [[Marsec Proximity Mine|Proximity Mine]]s (as general explosives). The upside to that is that it is possible to obtain those weapons early by raiding the cult.

Did anyone read H.P. Lovecraft? If not, here's a small example: ''"The nightmare corpse-city of R'lyeh ... was built in measureless eons behind history by the vast, loathsome shapes that seeped down from the dark stars. There lay great Cthulhu and his hordes, hidden in green slimy vaults . . . until the end."'' A Cthulhu-related phrase from a cultist:

''"That is not dead which can eternal lie.
''And with strange æons even death may die."

According to the same cultist (Old Castro), Chthulhu was one of the Great Old Ones, who ''"were not composed altogether of flesh and blood. They had shape...but that shape was not made of matter. When the stars were right, They could plunge from world to world through the sky; but when the stars were wrong, They could not live. But although They no longer lived, They would never really die. They all lay in stone houses in Their great city of R'lyeh, preserved by the spells of mighty Cthulhu for a glorious resurrection when the stars and the earth might once more be ready for Them."''

We need to put some info spoiler too about the map of R'lyeh.

..."We have reached such a depth that the sole link between the upper world and this ship is the Hyperwave Transmission link, and any loss of contact will probably make me mad.I have steered this craft for hours, yet sinking deeper, deeper into the inkiest of depths, the deepest bowels of Earth, and I am beginning to lose the sense of time and space. The 3D Underwater Radar shows the surroundings of this pit.Strange, amorphic shapes can be detected floating about.I am not sure if they are alive, for they have almost the same temperature of the water around them...

...1 hour later,i saw it.It slowly came into sight,a beacon of light at first, then a gleaming orb amongst the pitch depth.A massive chunk of unidentified metal was waiting in a crater deeper than the conical rift among...wait...if the physical analysis of the pit is real...yes,i must admit now,it must be THE "meteor" who slammed the Earth point-blank and kickstarted the age of mammals.Harbinger of our birth, yet our harbinger of destruction.Oh,the irony...

...I must hurry...This is a scouting mission, and I must leave before the hive like ship awakens.I have scanned the outskirts of its base, its defenses, possible creatures, and the psychic readings. The device's beams penetrated the base, and i noticed three "hardpoints",places with massive garrison and bio-readings.The report is as following:

*The Outskirts:I have noticed Tentaculat vermin ( curse on their souls,i lost 2 best friends, and forced to kill them myself, only to watch more of the Devilish Octopus spring forth from their bodies ),and humanoid shapes armed with the sonic cannons and blaster launchers.

*Catacombs(?):Scan readings are vague.It can be catacombs,or a loading bay,or even a lair.But I see still large,tentacled forms and powerful psychic beings.

*???:A Spiral shaped room.Tentaculats nested on nooks and crannies above the floor of this Temple of Deep.Horrible sound records echo from the tunnels, yet one of them lingers on in my mind:

"...ph'nglui mglw'nafh s'htuhkh t'leth wagh'nagl fhtagn...ph'nglui mglw'nafh ss'htuhkh t'leth wagh'nagl fhtagn...ph'nglui mglw'nafh sss'htuhkh t'leth wagh'nagl fhtagn..."

I am slowly getting mad.I had to stun my co-pilot Louis Tiers,a Frenchman, though he was a reliable psi-officer,he began laughing and shouting unintelligible things, though a modified voice-recorder yielded some sense:

"of a Sleeping One,yet not Dead yet not Alive, fed by the Mongrels of Blasphemies and Slaves,then,"...ph'nglui mglw'nafh s'stuhkh t'leth wagh'nagl fhtagn..." crap again,Atlantis was younger, younger than the starseed, the Elder Ones, they lended us our Flesh and their statues, which they brought from the stars...Azathoth...The Heart of Universe..."

I shut the record off and now I am sitting silently as the craft escapes the cold pandemonium below.Louis became mad.I can't believe a psychic assault could fry his mind. Now he is awake, but little aware of what happens,is now babbling in French.I have my Gauss Rifle as ready,in case he attacks me.

Maybe I will have to go to hypnotherapy when,or if i return and erase the three most insane hours of my life.It is maddening to say the least...I pray HQ has the guts and men to assault this earthly Abyss...

= A Tourist's Guide To Megaprimus =

Our Greetings to you, Visitor:

The City which you are about to enter, Mega Primus, is the primary Bastion of Mankind after emerging victorious from two seemingly hopeless wars against a despicable race of gene-manipulating, sinister Alien Empire. Yet hope survives, and mercy flourishes in its wake as well. We have extended our mercy and friendship to those who chose to side with us, and as you see, you will encounter these integrated citizens resembling Sectoids of the First Alien War.

The city features the finest technology and comfort throughout the Solar System, salvaged from the ancient Alien Empire who also seems to have begotten Our species, and the treacherous alien pirates who mis-used and looted their ruins to wage war on Us. The result is that We are finally sitting on the zenith of our history, seeing the entire contents of Our mysterious past in the blink of an eye. We travel around floating on People Tubes, with the courtesy of the Transtellar corporation who profit profoundly from the bountiful trading routes of our home, we revel in our Nanotechnological luxuries and Sensovision, students let School information flow into their minds freely, adapted from the Psychic coding and nanotech-construction technology of our enemies, we can fly on hover-vehicles we could not have dreamt about 40 years before! Verily, Earth-Borne technology was insufficent to apply mass-hover project, so We justly claimed it from the filth who dared touch our blood and earth. And Our thanks go to the glorious soldiers of X-Com, men and women of legends unmatched even in Our dank and filthy Middle Ages. Men and Women who rose amongst the pile of skulls of the dead, Men and Women who carried the Illuminating light of Freedom, Justice and Equality to the masses, Enlightening Us through war, deceit, and heroism.

We do not wish to bore you with Our glorious history, as the Space Shuttle approaches the Space Port, and a massive Jungle of grass, glass and gleaming metal with its limitless bounties, pleasures and power awaits you.

Once again, Welcome!

The Thirteen Most Enlightened Senators of Mega-Primus of ''Novus Ordo Seclorum''

== Trade ==

Various Corporations have their industries in monopoly, and thus make humongous profits surpassing the power of the Government. Mega-Primus industry produces extremely high-quality products and exports them in high prices, whereas cheaply buying elerium from mining colonies of Mars and the Asteroid Belt, and exploiting them doubly by selling expensive materials, an Imperialist's finest dream-city.

== Firms, Companies, Collectives ==

(Insert briefs about the companies themselves)

== Base Locations ==

The Government offers X-Com discreet locations such as abandoned warehouses and slums, and provided the base is in latter location,it is unlikely that the base is going to be attacked by Alien forces easily.

The bases have preset corridors, and facilities can be constructed into these empty spaces, and it is forbidden to fund additional excavations.

When needed, the Government can be contacted to give an additional base, provided the funds are at your disposal.

The newest development in base facilities are base defenses:rooms riddled with plasma turrets. At any base attack these will be extremely dangerous to any Alien invader.

By the way, we'll keep the table specs templates as well. In the future, we may want to change them a bit. Maybe even give them construction paper or graph paper backgrounds! Gasp, shock. Just a thought. For now, we can use the specs templates as another site-wide template for all spec tables.

So now we've got <nowiki>{{StdTable}}</nowiki>, which contains:

{{StdTable}}

And <nowiki>{{StdTable Heading}}</nowiki>, containing:

{{StdTable Heading}}

I haven't created a sub-heading template for the moment, as I can't see any place in the main menu to stick one for the moment.

But when it's created, it'll look exactly like heading only the background colour will be set to #EEE.

- [[User:NKF|NKF]]

P. S: You can see what templates are used on a page when you enter the edit screen just under the save and preview buttons. This will be templates that were in the page in the previous save. Not in the current edit in progress. I think. Still, handy to know.

----

NKF, the main page looks '''great''' IMHO. Clearly you took many things into consideration, including the "oomph" factor. The only thing I can suggest is that, in that very first full sentence in the top of the Main Page, have e.g. an underline link (no reason to change a single word!) to the main wikipedia [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xcom XCOM] link. Some folks will drop in totally out of the blue - that's their release valve to see, "ah, they're talking about a game".

As for the major re-write of main page, and lack of discussion here past my last post - whatever happened was always up to, the person that chose to sink the time into it. We all had time to say our peace. NKF, you did a great job as far as I'm concerned.
I took the liberty of removing most discussions on this page as many seem to be resolved. Issues relating to organization are pretty much complete. I think we can all agree that NKF did a terrific job pulling it all together! Thanks! The issue of color is technically still open for discussion, though for the time being, monochrome works just as well.

I switched the word "X-COM" to link to the wikipedia Xcom page. It's only a temporary change as I'm still not convinced that it looks "proper" - especially for the opening of a main page. Some of you may feel differently, so speak up. Otherwise I might just switch it back in a week. Anyone can freely remove my comment. :) --[[User:Zombie|Zombie]] 20:34, 18 January 2006 (PST)

Oomph? Rubbish. It was just a few minor tweaks, is all. Ha!

I've nudged the standard heading a bit so that it's a little lighter. I think it looks much better now. I'm trialling TFTD's blue-green theme colours, and it doesn't look too bad. I'm still undecided on Apocalypse, as it never did quite have any particular theme colour for most of its screens - not counting chrome. Maroon still comes to mind.

The badge icons I made look a bit out of place. Too vivid. Perhaps monochrome insignias would look better?

- [[User:NKF|NKF]]

----

Wow! Now it's actually starting to look slick, NKF! Who would've thought, given our humble beginnings.

I personally don't care much about colors. Although come to think of it, I wonder if the golden wheat color of XCOM 1 farms might not be a nice background for the box header of EU.

Also a tiny note, what do you think of a slash (/) instead of an "or" for the "Enemy Unknown or UFO Defense" header. The "or" might confuse newcomers - is it one or the other or both? Which also reminds me - "General Information" could say somewhere up front and obvious, concerning the nature of the two names, U.S. and European.

Did you clean up all the small pages that were making for so many multiple main-page entries as I advised, NKF? If so, I would like to buy you a great meal. It's easy to make a lot of suggestions... but all the ones I made would've taken 2-6 grueling hours of clean-up and linkage. I figure the price of some good beers or a nice meal is worth less than me spending approx. 4 hours on that, lol...

I'm still deep into Civ4 but it won't last forever. XCOM has appealed to me across 10 years, and continues to do so. I'll be back some month in force. In the meantime, thanks for all your great work, NKF! You can delete some/all of this comment after reading.

---[[User:MikeTheRed|MikeTheRed]]

Ok, now I'm double-dipping. On review, I would say that the "Battlescape Overview" and "Mission Types" categories could be melded into one "Combat Overviews" section. It doesn't have to be, but again I work on the principal of how, at various stages in their knowledge of XCOM, folks will want to look up one thing, and then another thing. And the Main Page should be intrinsically and entirely succinct.

To me, "Missions" is something that mainly noobs look up - the definitions of the mission types. Whereas "Overview" is something that intermediate and vet players want. Which is to say, you're one or the other - and one or the other of these two Main Page categories is irrelevant to somebody who frequents our pages to look things up. So I would meld them all into one place, and I suggest calling it "Combat Overviews".

One category in it would be Mission Types, and under it would be what is now called "Mission Variants" under "Mission Types". Otherwise have "General Combat Concepts" with such things as "Damage", "Explosions", and "Night Missions". "Aliens Missions" should have their own category - a contrapoint to "Mission Types" a.k.a. XCOM Missions.

Once again, I ask a lot and do almost nothing, laugh. I leave it in your hands. If/when I have lots of time to spend, I'll dive in again. One good thing about this place being less busy is that one can be less worried about making major, reasonable changes... who's going to object? laugh

I see in the wiki code, how you attempted to indent Weapons and HWPs. I guess it broke because it's centered. Something to kick around, see if there's a fix. Overall of course, the Main Page looks way better - thanks tons for sinking so much time into it!

BTW I like the link to the wiki on the game itself, at the top of the Main Page. Can I suggest having those parens saying "(a PC game)" instead of "(X-COM)". The link symbol shows folks that they're linking, and for all the other folks who drop in here accidentally wondering "what the heck is this page about", well, now they know. Look at it with outsider eyes... while the Main Page makes total sense to us, outsiders wonder, "do these folks believe in UFOs??

----
Interesting, I saw a question about production time inconsistencies, and thought I'd look up something up. Then I realise we're missing a section on item manufacture for the main menu. We've had some pretty good discussions on it (profitability discussions, for example), and I'd hate to see it all go to waste.

Does anyone else have any suggestions on what main sections we may be missing?

- NKF

----

I haven't heard of production time inconsistencies, NKF. Under Economics, there's already a place for "Smaller Topics, Notes and Links". Unless we're talking something huge, what you're talking about doesn't sound like Main Page to me. The question of what to make a main topic for, is not whether it doesn't fit logically into its own category. Everything overlaps already. For the Main Page, the question is whether it is a main, eye-catching thing that people will return to time and again. Otherwise put the smaller things somewhere, and have several wiki links from wherever it's relevant, using the power of hyperlinking. Another way to say it is that most everything that rates main page should have 3+ serious topics (entire wiki pages/concepts) under it. But there can always be exceptions, such as for warning sections or ones that hand-hold newbies.

Anyway, that's my view of it. A way to keep the site focussed. But this is a wiki; it's not just up to me. And you're the main person sinking time into it these days. Do what you think is best, bro!

Er, NKF, would you mind left-aligning the stuff in "Miscellaneous" on this Main Page? It's too wide a box and the eye goes: left, right, left, right finding the actual topics, when it's center-aligned. I tried to take a stab at left-aligning it but it's in a table and I don't know tables well.

One other request - can the "Community Portal" at the bottom of the Main Page please have some more words saying "Hello Newbies!" one way or the other, and/or put it at the top of the Main Page. Noobs are the life and blood of a thriving site, but the fact that that Portal has your many good pointers, is sort of lost in its current incarnation. Although I like the new look of the Main Page very much, one thing I miss is that that old "Newbies look here!" that was front and center on the old page, is now kind of buried. Consider putting it/something back up top and/or make it more clear that "Newbies Welcome!! Here's some pointers!"

Delete this comment of mine when done, no matter if you don't want to do this - it's just my opinion. Good to type at you, bro! ---[[User:MikeTheRed|MikeTheRed]] 01:54, 25 February 2006 (PST)
It was a question somewhere mentioning that the engineering hours are inconsistent. Turns out, after a quick poke around, that all manufacturing projects start on the next hour, not the hour you started it on. Makes sense, as the game starts putting in the engineering hours every hour. But no matter.

== Terror attack text ==
Upon noticing the threat posed to them by X-Com, aliens will scout out desirable cities, then attack the city using a large team of foot soldiers and the [[Terror Units (UFO Defense)|terror weapons]] associated with them.

The mission involves various smaller UFOs, which search for potential targets. When an area has been selected, a [[Terror Ship]] will drop off a strike force at a city, then take off directly into space.

Aliens have little to gain from carrying out these terror missions, but they know X-Com has much to lose. The purpose of these missions is to discredit X-Com. If a terror mission goes well for the aliens, nearby countries that fund X-Com are likely to lower funding, and pull out of the project altogether of an [[Alien Missions#Alien Infiltration|Alien Infiltration]] mission succeeds shortly afterwards.

The best way to deal with terror attacks is to shoot down the [[Terror Ship]] before it can land. When this is done, the aliens have to start the whole mission again, starting with the scouting UFOs.

One important point on Sectoids. Their small stature gives them a serious advantage when behind certain kinds of cover. For instance, to see them behind standard fences in the rural areas you have to duck and I think they are definitely harder to spot in wheat fields and smoke. I personally think they are much more dangerous than floaters and am usually relieved when aliens "upgrade" to the silly purple guys.

----

That's a good point, Pherd. If somebody wanted, they could run numbers on how often higher terrain appears, and how often various aliens appear. We hardcore have looked at terrain data e.g. [[TERRAIN|here]]. But I don't think anyone's talked about how often particular terrains appear. Also, height of aliens is [[Height|here]]. If you or anyone else wants to do an analysis, you can find the height of every object using MapView as mentioned [[Explosions#Tile_Characteristics|here]].

{{StdTable}}

{{StdTable Heading}}

I haven't created a sub-heading template for the moment, as I can't see any place in the main menu to stick one for the moment.

But when it's created, it'll look exactly like heading only the background colour will be set to #EEE.

Oomph?

I'll see what I can do about the misc table.

As for the ''You N00b! Look here!'' bit, yes, that does need to be more obvious. A small disclaimer explaining that this site is about a game rather than alien conspiracy theories is much needed as well. I just got rid of the bullets and put whitespace between the misc. listing. Even put an align = "left" bit into the table, but goodness knows if that's helping it any.
Instead of the long disclaimer, just put up by the external link to XCOM, "Extra Terrestrial Combat Unit ([http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xcom X-COM], a computer game)". Anybody who thinks anything weird past that... well, we can have fun with them.

The devastator cannon is another step up the alien technology tree, packing even more firepower than the [[Disrupter gun]], while possessing greater range and accuracy. Used in one hand in aimed mode it is very deadly at long ranges, capable of killing unshielded foes in 2 or 3 hits, and shielded foes in 5 or 6. The other way to use Devastator cannons is to give a soldier two, on either full auto or snap shot firing modes, and having the soldier lay down covering fire, suppressive fire, or destroying terrain. In close combat this weapon is unrivaled in close combat, cutting through any alien in seconds. However, it is capable of cutting down unshielded soldiers in 2 or 3 hits, and very often critically wounding a soldier in only one hit. Its great accuracy makes this weapon exceptionally dangerous, especially when coupled with cloaking devices, as the aliens often do, and pouring fire onto an enemy who can't see you. Aliens with this gun should be your first priority targets until the missiles start appearing.
It directly competes with the [[Marsec]] corporation for lucrative markets in the mining colonies and [[Mega Primus (Apocalypse)|Mega Primus]]. The major problems for Megapol are the criminal gangs that distribute Psiclone and the UFO incursions which are regarded as a threat to city security. Police vehicles bravely intercept UFOs as they materialize from the [[Dimension Gates]], but they are woefully under equipped to deal with them.

Megapol runs the city's police, fire, and ambulance services, as well as producing some of the more important weapons and equipment in the game. They start out friendly to you, and you should keep them that way, because (not mentioning the fact that you absolutely need Megapol's weapons early-on) Megapol officers are some of the most difficult enemies in the game. If you become enemies with them, the most likely turn of events will end in you LOSING THE GAME. As for the corporation's profile, that'll be added later.

I had not thought about your concept but it suddenly makes perfect sense - more than once, I've had real trouble with sectoids being hard to see. Until I got Flying Armor, anyway. :P
Our Greetings to you,Visitor:

The City which you are about to enter,Mega Primus,is the primary Bastion of Mankind after emerging victorious from two seemingly hopeless wars against a despicable race of gene-manipulating,sinister Alien Empire.Yet hope survives, and mercy flourishes in its wake as well.We have extended our mercy and friendship to those who chose to side with us,and as you see,you will encounter these integrated citizens resembling Sectoids of the First Alien War.

The city features the finest technology and comfort throughout the Solar System, salvaged the ancient Alien Empire who also seems to have begotten Our species, and the treacherous alien pirates who mis-used and looted their ruins to wage war on Us.The result is that We are finally sitting on the zenith of our history, seeing the entire contents of Our mysterious past in the blink of an eye.We travel around floating on People Tubes, with the courtesy of the Transtellar corporation who profit profoundly from the bountiful trading routes of our home,we revel in our Nanotechnological luxuries and Sensovision, students let School information flow into their minds freely, adapted from the Psychic coding and nanotech-construction technology of our enemies,we can fly on hover-vehicles we could not have dreamt about 40 years before!Verily,Earth-Borne technology was insufficent to apply mass-hover project,so We justly claimed it from the filth who dared touch our blood and earth. And Our thanks go to the glorious soldiers of X-Com,men and women of legends unmatched even in Our dank and filthy Middle Ages.Men and Women who rose amongst the pile of skulls of the dead,Men and Women who carried the Illuminating light of Freedom,Justice and Equality to the masses,Enlightening Us through war, deceit, and heroism.

We do not wish to bore you with Our glorious history,as the Space Shuttle approaches the Space Port, and a massive Jungle of grass, glass and gleaming metal with its limitless bounties, pleasures and power awaits you.

Once again,Welcome!

== General Information ==
The Sectopod "Walker" is, perhaps, one of the most dangerous terror units X-COM has come up against. Their armour is nearly impervious to all weapons fire, but they appear to be vulnerable to [[Weapons (UFO Defense)|lasers]].

Sectopods are seen in the company of [[Ethereal]]s in base defenses and terror missions. Beware, their weapon is a chin-mounted dual-[[Heavy Plasma]], which can make short work of any enemy of the Sectopod in seconds.

[Jasonred] : Actually, I believe that it's damage type is "Energy Beam". No?

Every Sectopod is nearly completely identical and is built not only for self-sufficient commands and operation, but also psychic/psionic manipulation - an Ethereal could potentially control a Sectopod as if it were it's own body, from millions of miles away.

If X-COM ground forces encounter Sectopods on Earth, it will usually be during a [[Base Defense]] or [[Terror Mission]]. Terror attacks by [[Ethereal]]s are the most dangerous for both [[Civilian]]s and X-COM units - apart from having to deal with their psionic abilities, we also have to fight against Sectopods.

== Autopsy ==
[[Image:sectopodautopsy.png|right|Sectopod, Disassembled]]
The Sectopod appears to be capable of self-sustained propulsion and attack. Its "brain", whilst small compared to modern electronics, is incredibly powerful. It is anywhere from 5 to 10, to even 20 times as powerful as standard Earth processors. This may be a machine, but it is a machine with near sentience although its intelligence is supressed so that it does not start thinking of its own accord.

There are signs of specialised biomechanical components, which may be used to psionically remotely control the Sectopod. Unlike the Sectoid's Cyberdisks, the Sectopod's power module is far more robust and as such, despite our best attempts, the module cannot and will not explode, except where immense amounts of energy are involved.

Whilst it is nearly impervious to most damage types, its "screen" has the "unfortunate" effect of amplifying lasers that strike, making them do considerable amounts of damage to the circuitry and mechanical "brain". The Sectopod is elerium powered.

[Jasonred] : The game explains that its "Sensing circuitry is particularly vulnerable to laser fire".

[--[[User:X-COM:Turcocalypse|X-COM:Turcocalypse]] 14:26, 15 April 2006 (PDT)] : Bad sci-fi idea,I laughed when I saw it first.Laser is after all,radiation stimulated super-dense light.If it's vulnerable to this,how can PLASMA,matter with 15000 Grad Celsius shrugged off?

==Notes==
* Some commanders keep [[Tank/Laser Cannon]]s on hand to deal with Sectopods. The turret laser's high power, combined with the Sectopods vulnerability to lasers, encourages troops to keep laser tanks on hand when it would otherwise be scrapped in favor of hovertanks.

The true horror of the Alien invasion is revealed as one investigates a stunned micronoid puddle.

The Aliens are not the creatures. They are the very cellular structure of the living tissue which all aliens are "made" with.Their blood supply is a hive of billions of organic cells which are all linked together via psychic link. All Aliens are made of a single consciousness,a single intelligence spanning two different dimensions of existence. When an Alien falls, the "Many" is weakened equal to the amount of cells dead. For every new cell, the intellect of the "Many" increases. The Mind has expanded enough to conquer its home world, turning it into a single gigantic organic city with an army and fleet.

The dreadful fact is that it must have had contact with the Aliens of the first Alien War,as they have imprisoned sectoids to kill for food.It must be that they have chosen us as thir next host, both reproductional and nutritional purposes.
